After I finished the wordpress widget of my slide show, I've been strugling quite a bit to get it published in the Wordpress plugin directory.Not because they didn't want it, but because it ain't that simple to get the files in the repository they use. As simple and straightforward as Wordpress is (except for the manual editing of the config file at installation), adding a plugin to the wordpress plugin directory is really complicated. Of course, there is a lot of info on the wordpress.org site, and links to even more info. But I didn't find a clear and complete explanation of the entire proces of publicing, from the moment you register until the moment the plugin is available to all.
